This unique rental property lies between Sorrento and Massa Lubrense, an ideal location while visiting the area of Sorrento, Pompei, Naples and the Amalfi Coast.
The house is accessed by its own private gate; it’s part of a nineteenth century villa and has been newly renovated by its young owners. They tastefully interior decorated this fabulous home starting from its furnishings right down to the lamps. No expense was spared as the best known European designers were consulted and hired in completing the project.
One of its main features, is the amazing 180 degree breathtaking view which can be enjoyed both from the living rooms and from the large private terraces surrounding them. Also an amazing view of the Island of Capri can be enjoyed while comfortably lying down and resting. Visitors are struck by the contrasting dazzling white of the house and the bright blue sea which makes for a perfect atmosphere after a long day’s trip.
The main terrace at the ground floor has a beautiful Minipool with a gorgeous view on the gulf .
The property is developed on two floors: the ground floor is where the large living room is located which in turn has access to the terrace. This area is furnished with a sun bed, a set of table and chairs; kitchen; One double bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower. On the first floor there is a bathroom which includes a bathtub; a double bedroom which also has access to a panoramic terrace. This cozy and spacious home has all the comforts one could ask for and last but not least it is fully air conditioned.

Birthday treat | 05/22/2017 |
A beautiful villa with stunning views - exactly as described. Nunzio was extremely attentive and helpful on organising our stay, transfers and the personal chef experience with Carmine. We had a couple of minor issues during our stay which Nunzio resolved immediately. Would highly recommend to anybody. Look forward to visiting again someday.
You will love it! | 03/22/2017 |
We fell in love with this magic part of Italy.
The apartment was well prepared for our arrival, absolutely clean. Good beds! Well equipped kitchen.
The hot whirlpool on the terrace is amazing!
We really enjoyed our stay and we hope come back again.
Fantastic Villa | 07/09/2016 |
Excellent property and facilities. Ideal for a couples break and relaxation. Close enough to Sorrento to enjoy its wonders and the surrounding areas, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town life.
A very nice location near Sorrento | 04/30/2016 |
We spent one week at eastern with our family at Casa Marriavittoria. The house is very lovely decorated, very clean and with two nice bathrooms. The kitchen is quite well equiped (some parts are missing, more bowls...)! So we hat a great time there, unfortunately the weater was not that good, so we had to stay inside or went arount for a trip. To go to Neaples or to the Vesuv took us quite a long time because of the traffic in Sorrento and along the coast.....so the surrounding is very nice as well and we discodered it! The mini-pool is quite warm (up to 32 degree) and the terrace with a fantastic view to Capri an the coast! To park the car was ok, to go out for dinner in Sorrento or to the little harbour at Massa Lubrense is great!
The Customer Service was great, Nunncio and his college were very friendly and helpful, they took care of eyery little problem and question! Thanks for that!
The washing-machine is very old an shoudld be renewed......
The view will take your breath away! | 04/14/2016 |
My family of two adults and two kids (age 10 and 12) stayed in Casa Mariavittoria (i.e. Guido's place) from April 7 to April 14, 2016. Guido's place is in a fairly good location if you want to explore the Naples area, the Sorrento coast, and the Amalfi coast. (If you are mainly interested in seeing just the Naples area, then it will be a bit too far out for convenience.) It takes about 90 minutes to reach from the airport. We found the location to be ideal. It is only about 15 minutes outside of Sorrento (for gelato and shopping), but feels like it's in the country. Other reviewers mentioned issues with parking, but we found a spot up the hill that was always available and where our car seemed safe. It did mean a 5 minute walk back and forth to the car on a very narrow road. So, do note that this is not the house for you if you have mobility issues or small children in strollers.
The house offers fabulous views of the sea from two different patios. It's nicely decorated and has a small kitchen (stove but no oven). The whole place has a light and airy feel to it.
Our one disappointment was that the pool does not get that hot. Last year, we vacationed in a house in Iceland that had an outdoor "pool" (hot tub) that was nice and toasty despite the outside temperature being below freezing. Our weather in Sorrento was mostly sunny, with temperatures of 65 to 70F (18 to 21C), so it's a mystery to me why this pool could never get beyond lukewarm. Even when used correctly (we had some user errors due to lack of an instruction sheet), it never got hot enough that my husband and I wanted to go in. My visions of sipping wine in the pool as the sun set never materialized. The kids used it a bit but not every day as we had planned because it was too cool for them too. Guido and his colleagues did their best to address this issue, but perhaps the pool was simply not built to get hot.
I would still heartily recommend staying here, though. And do make sure you take the opportunity to hike up the road it's on to the end. The walk through olive and lemon groves is lovely and the view from the top of the hill is stunning.
Also, please try the restaurant Riccardo Francischiello that is directly below on the main road in the Hotel Bellavista. The food is excellent and reasonably priced.
Sensational Apartment | 03/16/2016 |
This is an amazing apartment, VERY spacious, beautifully decorated, fitted and clean. The terraces, particularly the lower one with hot tub/ jacuzzi, have sensational views to the countryside and sea. Our host Guido, was excellent and very quick to sort out the one very minor issue we had. The only major problem was that our stay was too short!
A Romantic Paradise | 02/03/2016 |
We just returned for a week in this beautiful and artfully decorated home. It was a magnificent home-base for our first visit to Italy's Amalfi Coast. The team that designed this home has a superior understanding of how to pamper their guests. They also have outstanding taste in interior design and art. Second, the location of this home affords spectacular sunsets. We enjoyed them so much that we arranged our day outings to be back in time for an Apertivo on the deck as the sun set. As for pragmatics this home is outfitted with everything one needs. It's location is well situated to visit Pompeii, Sorrento and the entire Amalfi Coast. It's also close enough to public transportation that you can out of driving which we were glad to do. Driving on the Amalfi Coast is a not for the faint-hearted or the couple that wants to gaze upon all the views! The home owner and his team are accessible, friendly and extremely helpful as well. We highly recommend this home!
Luxury apartment and loads to do! | 11/08/2015 |
We stayed here at the end of October 2015 and found the apartment to be beautiful inside and out! The black and white theme is really stylish, the beds were really comfortable, and the hot tub was the highlight of our week - despite the chilly evenings we were in it every night! The TV and hifi system was great, too.
It was an ideal place for visiting Capri, Pompeii and Vesuvius - the bus to Sorrento is just at the bottom of the road, and the train goes to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvuis from Sorrento.
A word of warning - if you hire a car DO NOT park it below the property round the corner by the wall.. Our car was damaged (by someone coming up the hill) quite badly. Further up the hill around 2 more bends is a wider turning space where you can park more safely.
A few minor points:
The bathrooms are lovely, but th method of obtaining hot water for the showers is a bit hit and miss, there are so many knobs and taps! Some simple instructions would be great.
There is no oven in the kitchen -(other than a microwave) and no grill, I was a bit lost without these, although we managed OK. The gas hob was a bit erratic - sometimes it refused to stay lit despite holding down the knob for up to a minute.
When cooking with non stick pans (of which there is a great selection, non metal utensils would be better, as metal ones can damage the surface.) If you're not intending to cook much then this won't be an issue)
What a View! | 10/16/2015 |
My husband and I, along with another couple, recently spent a lovely weekend at Casa Mariavittoria. The casa was beautiful and the view was magnificent! The space was perfect for two couples. We especially loved sitting out on the terrace, admiring the sunset and enjoying a nice bottle of Italian wine. Guido was very helpful and easy to work with the entire time. He even picked us up at the train station, then took us to the local grocery store to pick up a few food and beverage items for our stay. My only suggestion will be to clarify whether the "mini-pool" on the terrace can be used as a hot tub or for a cool refreshing dip. The water was cold during our stay. I hope to someday return to this lovely place!
Modern design, luxury accommodation for four, breath taking view from the private balconies. | 10/12/2015 |
Add in trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Sorrento and Positano; stunning walks such as The Walk of the Gods; an abundance of Italian restaurants, and this wonderful house provides the ingredients for a memorable holiday.
A memorable week in paradise | 09/27/2015 |
Everything in the advert meets ones expectations on arrival. Magnificent house overlooking Capri and the Mediteranian sea. Guido and his assistant Raffaela took good care of us 24/7. Always there to help, give tips or answer questions whenever we needed. The kitchen lacks a washing machine - which could easily be fitted in - but beeing a small party (4 beds) cleaning dishes by hand turned out to be quite nice for a change. No big loss at all. Only one minor minus: We had to choose between AC in the house and heated jacuzzi. Since the temperature in the jacuzzi never exeeded 18 degrees it was never used by us (we chose naturally to keep the AC on in the house). Our teenager was a bit disappointed at that. It should be told in the advert that you cannot have both AC in the house and the jacuzzi heating. I think quiet a few of us guests would provide an extra fee to get both.
If you rent a car prepare your nerves for the finding of a parking place for your car. You unload in front of the house in a steep, extremely narrow slope and than you have to find a way to turn your car around and look for parking space. Which there really are none. As days go by I found the traffic and the narrow roads a little easier and easier to handle but I would absolutely recommend to take an extra insurance for your rented car. I didnt and I was extremely lucky not to get any scratch marks or dents in the car. Shere luck.
All in all, a unforgetable week and we already miss Sorrento and Casa Mariavittoria much! You have to see it to beleive it!

It is excellent! | 08/24/2015 |
Top penthouse with impressing sea views. We stayed 14 days and it was a great holiday. The penthouse is in top condition with fantastic sea views; service was perfect and discret. With Baia de Puolo there is a nice beach five car minutes away and with Francichiello a classic italian Restaurant two minutes to walk. Thank you Guido for this time!
Perfect place | 08/23/2015 |
We had a great time in Casa Mariavittoria. Impressing seaviews from morning coffee up to dinner on the wonderful terrace. Very clean, lightful and compfortable spot. The service was excellent, friendly and discret. A top Restaurant is near by.
Excellent Villa!!! | 06/22/2015 |
What a great villa. Breathtaking view of the island of Capri. My kids enjoyed the small tub on the terrace. Carmine arranged fun personalized tours for us (a private boat to Capri, a private car to the Amalfi coast and tours to a mozzarella and limoncello factory). Highly recommend this property. Our stay in Sorrento couldn't have been better!! FANTASTIC!!!
WOW!!!! | 05/18/2015 |
I am shocked this villa is not $1000 per night The HUGE terrace/balcony with a million dollar view of the entire island of Capri overlooking the Amalfi coast and Mediterranean Sea is one of a kind. This was our third trip to Italy and we have never stayed in accommodations this nice (including our $1300 per night stay in Splendido overlooking Portofino.) The owner went way above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. If this villa is available you need to book it. Mel Miles. Charleston SC
Heaven on earth! | 05/03/2015 |
We stayed with our 8 month old baby, and didn't want to leave at the end. The view from the terrace was heavenly....Capri in the background, perfect sunsets everyday. We loved looking at the stars from the hot tub at night, and our baby had fun swimming during the day. It was in a good location, just 5 minutes from Sorrento. There is a restaurant right next door, so everything was convenient. We would love to go back if we're ever in Italy again!
| 11/29/2014 |
We had a spectacular time in this gorgeous villa with one of the most beautiful views from my window I ever had. I felt like an oil tycoon on vacation. If you want to experience how the rich and famous live for a very reasonable price, stay on this property.
| 11/15/2014 |
Amazing views, stylish yet comfortable. Thank you guido for your marvellous home. Some practical advice on getting around. Regular bus service to and from sorrento and appartment. (c20mins) 2 bus company services available one from sorrento rail station and the other near station or stops on the main drag in sorrento. The bus from station you must buy tickets in advance from ticket office (so worth buying a few for return journey from appartment). No ticket, no boarding (or you are chucked off en route unceremoniously!). The other service does accept cash. Possible to do carless which we did but I would recommend a car rental at least for a couple of days as buses to positino were so busy we didn't go. And don't think about walking along the roads unless you are brave enough! Stupid Londoners that we are expected pavements!
| 11/12/2014 |
Beautiful villa, well kept up with amazing views over the sea. There is a huge deck where we relaxed on the comfortable cushion beds and ate all our meals on the table provided. There is also an outdoor shower where we could get wet to cool off. There is a small washing machine that takes a long time to run but does the job. The kitchen is small and stocked only with the bare necessities but was fine for us. The amazing views and the gorgeous deck were the main selling point for us. It is a little far to walk into Sorrento but just a short drive since we had a car. There is a bus but we didn't try to use it. Parking is free on the narrow road outside the villa. We would stay there again should we be on the Amalfi Coast again.
Heavenly villa outside Sorrento | 11/11/2014 |
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa for one week in September. The villa was so nice and the view so incredible that we ate dinner outside every single night. The villa is modern and clean and far enough away from town so that it is very peaceful and quiet. The only negatives, which were small,l was the parking is very tight on the narrow road outside of the house and the wifi in the house was not very strong. Would definitely recommend renting this lovely villa.
| 11/10/2014 |
If you're looking for above and beyond service, spectacular location, cleanliness, and an overall great experience, this is the place. Can't say enough good things about the property itself and the owner/operator.
| 07/09/2014 |
This Villa is truly a gem - the photos really don't do justice to the gorgeous view and the airiness of this lovely contemporary space. Guido, the proprietor, was a most gracious and welcoming host who was available if needed but discreetly left us to enjoy the place. (He even hosted us as his guests at the elegant restaurant he manages in Sorrento - a magical treat for the palate!) At Guido's suggestion, we ate several times at the little restaurant 2 doors down and were treated like old friends.
Buses were easily accessible but i would suggest renting a car to really enjoy the magic of this coast ( driving wasn't as scary as expected - except the drive to Positano - very narrow roads! - but well worth the effort!) A day in Capri is a must, as is a trip to Pompei. Massa is a lovely little town with a great bakery and shops for necessities but Sorrento is the nearest larger center. And of course for a Rodeo Drive-like shopping experience you should make the trek to the top of Capri.
Though there is a beach club directly below the villa ( a really pretty walk) there are lots of lovely little beaches close by ( we just used phone apps/ maps to find them ). And RUNNERS will enjoy a fantastic trail through the hills immediately behind the villa.
Can't say enough great things about this spectacular place !
| 07/07/2014 |
What a wonderful place we found! The moment Guido opened the door we knew we were in the right place.......the views, decks, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living room were all so well done and laid out, not a thing was missed. Guido the owner was so accommodating and helped us immediately when we needed it....he even surprised us with free audio sets for our visit to Pompeii.....thank you Guido! We did not rent a car which ended up to be the way to go....roads way too narrow to feel comfortable and the bus stop is only 100 feet away from the front door. Could not have asked for a better place to stay for 2 weeks to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, have already told family and friends to book this!
| 05/18/2014 |
Casa Mariavittoria is a stunning place to call home during a stay in the Amalfi Coast region. The view and accommodations rival any 5-star hotel. It's clean, comfortable, spacious, and absolutely beautiful! The modern design is inviting and comfortable without being inaccessible. With two stunning and spacious balconies, the Casa Mariavittoria makes you feel like a very lucky local. The casa is located just outside of Sorrento with buses that run frequently. Please note that the buses do not run late. All in all, we were thrilled with our accommodations and would recommend the Casa Mariavittoria to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay on the Almafi Coast.
Perfect place to stay while in Sorrento | 02/04/2014 |
We stayed in this beautiful house for one week during the winter holidays. The house looked exactly as it did in the pictures as did the amazing views of the ocean and Capri. Guido is a warm and friendly host who could not have made our stay more comfortable. No rental car, no problem-there is a bus stop just feet away from the house that with a little planning can get you to the center of Sorrento just a few miles away. I cannot recommend the house enough, it has all the comforts of an American home, central A/C and heating, comfy couch, flat screen tv with cable, modern kitchen and a tub. Did I mention the views? I saw the most amazing sunsets and this was during winter, I can't even imagine what they look like in the summer. Thank you Guido for such a lovely home. Ci vediamo!
| 12/14/2013 |
Stayed in this property Oct 12-17, 2013. Nicest vacation rental I have ever stayed in. The view is hyponotic,,spectacular!! The house is perfect. Perfect for 2 couples...one bedroom/bathroom upstairs..one bedroom/bathroom downstairs. Beds were comfortable, bedding was lovely. Really lovely property. One thing to bring..a one cup Mellitta coffee drip and filters. The kitchen has everything but no coffee maker. Guido was a perfect host..one or two internet glitches..he was there within an hour.Definitely rent this property!!
| 11/20/2013 |
We stayed for two weeks and it was wonderful. The property is everything you see in the pictures, although they do not do justice to the spectacular 180 degree views from Capri to Vesuvius. Guido and Ornella were very helpful and extremely accommodating, and we couldn't ask for better hosts. The location was perfect as a base to see the whole area -- close enough to Sorrento to access stores and local transportation, but also remote enough to enjoy the quiet and the incredible views.
We would definitely consider staying here again. Many thanks Guido!
Outstanding views | 11/14/2013 |
The views from the large terrace of this apartment include Capri and the entire coastline up to Napoli Bay. The interior and patios of this apartment are very private. Decor is beautiful.
On a steep road so a car might be nice, although very difficult to park on narrow steep road. But, it's got to be up high to have these views. The hills surrounding the villa area are gorgeous, full of olive trees on terraces and large old homes. Fun to just sit on the terrace and watch the ferries to Capri and the fishing boats.
House over looking the sea | 10/08/2013 |
We stayed from Sept 14-28th, 2013 at this property and the view is unbelievable, Guido is an excellent host with great recommendation's for the area. We have stayed in both Sorrento and now just outside in Massa Lubrense and would never stay in Sorrento again. This location is perfect for us quiet, easy assess to all of the area's (Sorrento, Amafi, Pompeii etc.) by car, train or bus. The house has most items needed and is very clean, the kitchen could use a few additional items if you cook a lot. The area has a lot to explore and visit with excellent restaurants, beaches, marinas, and great people to meet.
A Sunset Lover's Dream | 09/15/2013 |
Spectacular views of Capri and Mt. Vesuvius greet you every morning from the surround-around terraces. The sunsets take your breath away. Grab some Limoncello and relax in paradise. There were 4 of us staying here for a week and it was perfect. We didn't rent a car but managed to take a bus to town and back whenever we wanted. Taxis, buses, boats and trains can take you just about anywhere you want to go. Guido arranged a driver for us for a day to tour Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi. Spectacular vistas. Guido also arranged for us to have a phenomenal meal at his hotel tailored to our specific tastes. He is a remarkable host and will do anything to make your stay at his villa a vacation to remember. His wife Ornella also was a fount of information on What to see and tips on things to avoid. The kitchen is small but complete with all amenities.....no dishwasher, but who's cooking with all those wonderful restaurants around!. There is a washing machine, but it is very small and does only a small amount of clothes at a time. Everyone dries their laundry on large racks in the sun. It's the Italian way. We have wonderful memories and spectacular pictures of our stay there and would recommend it to anyone. Don't miss it.
Amazing Views! | 06/06/2013 |
We went on our first Italian vacation and it started on the beautiful Amalfi coast. The views at this place are absolutely amazing! I loved the windows and doors and the open layout. It was quite amazing. The only word of caution is to bring a small car as you have to park on a hilly narrow road. We actually took the bus from the nearby bus stop (down the street), to go to Sorrento. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers), and everyone was very happy. This was such a great place to watch the sun rise, set and everything in between!
Fantastic! | 04/08/2013 |
I cannot express how beautiful this villa is. The views are magnificent and the interior design exceptional. Guido and his wife were so welcoming, and they were always just a phone call away in the event that we needed anything. Thankfully with my lack of the Italian language, they speak English very well and we had no difficulties. My only problem was that I didn't stay long enough, but I plan to return and fix that! Thank you again Guido for sharing your amazing property with us! The views from the beautiful terraces are some of my favorite memories of Italy.
Amazing property! | 04/08/2013 |
This villa is spectacular! The terraces have outstanding views and the interior is very well designed. It has quite a bit of outdoor living space which is perfect when you have the Mediterranean as your gorgeous backdrop. Guido and his wife were so welcoming and always just a phone call away (which by the way was in English which helped me immensely!) My family loved our time there!
Wonderful | 10/09/2012 |
Loved most everything about this beautiful home! The view is amazing!
Most Amazing Villa! | 07/17/2012 |
My husband and I stayed at Guido's wonderful villa for our honeymoon and it was the best decision we ever made. The pictures in this listing doesn't even compare. We felt like royalty in this beautiful place. Right in the mountain we had the most amazing view of Capri. Guido was so kind and extremely helpful and communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. My husband and I will be returning to celebrate our Anniversary. If you are contemplating staying in Sorrento, make this villa your #1 choice - you won't regret it.
wonderful ! | 06/20/2012 |
This is in a wonderfully scenic spot overlooking Capri and the bay of Naples. The house is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. It is also larger than the photos shown! The veranda is so beautiful we didn't want to leave and spent many nights drinking wine and watching the sunset. Guido is fantastic, he helped us arrange a taxi with a friend of his who took us to the stores for food and wine and helped us carry the grocery! We also enjoyed a day at the beach conveniently across from the house. Thank you Guido! We will be back to see you again soon!
An amazing place ! | 06/20/2012 |
How lucky were we to find this place? It exceeded all expectation, stunning views over to Ischia and Capri and a choice of two large terraces to take in the vista and soak up the sun. The house is modern and well appointed, a wide choice of tv channels and good reception for wifi. We enjoyed dinner every night at Riccardo Francischiello restaurant just 500 meters down the road, an extensive menu, fresh seafood, excellent service and well priced.
Thanks for a wonderful week Guido, we loved your house.
Wonderful week in May | 05/29/2012 |
We absolutely loved this villa. Very comfortable and the view is unbelievable - and changes with the time of day, clouds, ocean. The owner, Guido, is very nice and went out of his way to ensure we had a good time. It is a great location, and make sure you rent a small car. 10-15 minutes out of Sorrento towards Massa Lubrense, close enough to be in the busy streets with shopping and dining and also to feel like you're in a small Italian village. Will definitely stay here again.
| 01/31/2012 |
We couldn't have been happier with the beautiful view of Capri and the Amalfi coast. The rooms were big and modern, the bathrooms clean and roomy, the kitchen well appointed and the lounge dining blessed with great windows and views. The deck provided a wonderful spot to enjoy our 'sundowners' even though it was winter, and the weather was sunny and just marginally chilly. Thanks to Guido the owner for his generosity and warm welcome.
| 12/06/2011 |
My husband, and two young children rented this beautiful house for one week in early Nov. We found the house very well appointed. The owner has an eye for detail and interior design, there was nothing that hadn't been thought of and provided. Everything from the chef's kitchen, modern bathrooms to the outdoor shower on the terrace was like something out of a magazine. The owner Guido spoke very good english and was incrediably accomodating and helpful. He treated us like friends, he was a fantastic host. There is a bus stop 100 metre from the front door which will take you into the heart of Sorrento. Which is great if you can tear yourself away from the balcony that overlooks the island of Capri. We will be back!
| 12/03/2011 |
I stayed at Casa Mariavittoria last August and I found it very comfortable, clean and very well furnished. It has a breathtaking view overlooking the bay of Naples and the beautiful Capri island. Even though it is in a residential area it's very easy to reach Massa Lubrense and Sorrento. The house is 800 meters from a private beach. Guido, the house owner is very accommodating and anything you might need he's ready to help.
I hope to come back again.
Amazing! | 11/25/2011 |
Hi fellow travellers..I am an italian lady who has been in London for several years! Last summer I've decided to show my country to my boyfrined and a couple of friends (i am from Sorrento by the way) so I've started to look on various web site and suddendly I've found this amazing villa to rent..as you can see form the pictures uploaded it is really really stylish and has got wonderful sea view! A part of that Guido and Ornella (the owner) are more than friendly and they help you to solve all the problems you might have. The villa is very close to all the amenities and just a few stone's throw away the center of Sorrento.! I definetely reccomend this house like a place to spend your holidays..!
Amazing house to rent | 11/22/2011 |
Beautiful house with spectacular views. I am an Italian who has lived in London for several years and last summer (june 2011) I finally decided to rent a house a in Sorrento, the city where i was born, as I I wanted to spent a period there with my english boyfriend and a couple of friends. I was really worried about the choice of the house to rent as I wanted a memorable place to stay. I can now tell Casa Mariavittoria has been definitively the right choice, the house is brand new, decorated modern and above all with a breathtaking view. The beach is only 1 km and the center of Sorrento, very busy in summer, is close enough (4 km). Guido and Ornella are a lovely landlords who share with you their knowledge of the city and always suggest you interesting things to do. I was worried about my friends who I have dragged on this vacation, but could not get any better than that.
Absolutely stunning! both the property and the views | 11/15/2011 |
We regularly visit the Sorrento area and have stayed in many different hotels/villas over the years - this is just the most gorgeous villa. The owners have decorated it beautifully and have clearly taken great care on every detail. Having enjoyed the beauty of the villa and its decor you are then taken aback by what has to be one of the best views of Capri and its surrounds on the balcony. Because of its aspect it is just jaw dropping. It makes for an incredible sunset too. Its probably the most beautful place we have stayed in. We just wish we could have all our friends enjoy it too.

Its one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in and I've travelled a lot of places. We visit the Sorrento area every year and have stayed in a lot of different villas/hotels - this is by far our favourite. The decor for the whole house is gorgeous - in fact I have taken some of the ideas home. The owners have put effort into every detail which you can really tell.
What makes it even more special is the view from the balcony - it makes the sunsets a very special time to relax on the balcony.
We highly recommend this villa as a must!
wonderful vacation in a beautiful house | 10/26/2011 |
the location is great. the view from the Spacious balconies that surround the house is really breathtaking. all you need is a glass of limoncello and you feel like you are in paradise. the hospitality of Guido and Ornella was wonderful. the house is well equipped in amenities (kitchen, audio and video, furniture etc). you must have a car (small one is prefered..) to travel in the area. the port of Sorrento is not far and you can take ferry from their to Capri (don't miss it) and Napoli we followed Guido recommendation and took a private boat for a all day to Capri and the Amalfi coast. not cheap but it was unforgettable and the best day.
