The best beaches in Majorca<\/h1>\n

Most of the new<\/strong> destinations of My Rental Homes <\/strong>are located in Italy, but one of them is located in Spain<\/strong>. It\u2019s the marvelous island of Majorca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Majorca is the largest island in the Balearics. <\/strong>These islands are famous for their nightlife, attractions, events, itineraries and the beautiful panorama you can discover both on their coastlines and their interiors.<\/p>\n

Ibiza, Formentera, Minorca and Majorca are all popular tourist destination.<\/p>\n

In particular, Majorca is famous for its rocky and sandy beaches<\/strong>, surrounded by limestone cliffs, and its crystalline light blue sea. You can spend the whole day sunbathing, snorkeling, relaxing, and playing aquatic sports.<\/p>\n

But among all the beaches, which are the best<\/strong>? I asked the question to someone who knows well the wonderful Maiorca, and here is the answer.<\/p>\n

SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN MAJORCA<\/h2>\n

\"Mallorca<\/a>1) Playa Es Trenc<\/h3>\n

It is one of the most famous<\/strong> beaches in Majorca.<\/p>\n

Its fine white sand and the <\/strong>shallow water make it a suitable place also for families with children<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are no hills behind Playa Es Trenc. It means that you have a view on a wide open panorama.<\/p>\n

\"Majorca<\/a>2) Cala Agulla<\/h3>\n

Since 1991 this beach is part of the n<\/strong>atural reserve<\/strong>. For this reason there aren\u2019t almost any tourist settlements and the landscape is still pristine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The beach of Cala Agulla is surrounded by mountains<\/strong> and <\/strong>pine trees<\/strong>, and the sea has a vibrant sparkling light blue color.<\/p>\n

\"Alcudia<\/a>3) Playa d’Alcudia<\/h3>\n

Playa d\u2019Alcudia is the largest beach<\/strong> in Majorca and, probably, in the whole Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n

A fine white sand, a calm and shallow sea, and large pine forest are its main features.<\/p>\n

But Playa d\u2019Alcudia is one of the best beaches in Majorca not only for its beautiful nature. In fact, you can find many leisure facilities<\/strong>. In other words this beach is perfect for enjoying your free time playing sports or other activities.<\/p>\n

4) Portal Vells<\/h3>\n

Portal Vells is a small sandy beach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Its beauty is similar to that of the other beaches, but its strong point is that it is particularly popular among<\/strong> locals<\/strong> and families.<\/p>\n

5) Cala Llamp<\/h3>\n

Cala Llamp is different. It\u2019s a rocky beach surrounded by rocky cliffs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a rough place!<\/p>\n

Luckily the sea water is calm and enjoyable. In particular, it\u2019s lovely to splash around in the natural rock pools <\/strong>here and there. And the clear water is perfect for snorkeling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are no facilities other than those at a beach club nearby.<\/p>\n

6) Cala Torta<\/h3>\n

Cala Torta is a remote and undeveloped beach<\/strong>. That means that it is fantastic if you are looking for a less touristic place.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not so easy to reach it. It takes about 25-30 minutes on a bumpy road<\/strong>, but once you are there you find an almost desert beach with the always lovely crystal clear sea of Majorca.<\/p>\n

7<\/strong>) Cala Portals Nous<\/h3>\n

Cala Portals Nous is more like a urban beach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a long sandy beach close to the beautiful harbor of Puerto Portals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Due to its location, this beach is very popular with residents <\/strong>and is also well equipped with facilities. You can rent umbrellas and sunbeds, there are showers and even some very nice restaurants.<\/p>\n
