Overview

Villa Maria Taglioni is located in Blevio, in a fantastic position three miles from the charming old city Como and 1-hour drive from the cosmopolitan city of Milan and from the Malpensa International Airport.

The overall property consists of two twin aristocratic side-by-side interconnected lakeside villas – Villa Maria Taglioni and Villa Maria Serena – dating back to the 18th century.
The two residences are separated by a small historic harbor flanked by ancient terracotta statues.
Both villas have been completely renovated and personally refurbished by the owners and offer all the best mod cons combined with valuable elegant furniture of the family.

The entire villa is immersed in a 7-acres of lush gardens that include a landscape pool, a panoramic terrace and the dock and it can accommodate up to 14 people in 7 luxury bedrooms each of them provided with marble bathrooms and dressing rooms.

The common areas of Villa Taglioni consist of a frescoed sitting room, a reading room, a music room and a beautiful dining room with access to a lake shore balcony.

In detail on the ground floor we find the hall, the music room (with grand piano), the living and dining room, all with frescoed ceilings.
Furthermore, there is a large contemporary fully equipped kitchen (with two washing machines, American fridge, three ovens and all useful appliances you may need) and a bathroom with shower.

On the first floor there is the central living room on the lake side with fireplace facing the lake.
Furthermore, there are two bedrooms with queen size bed, with lake view and en suite marble bathroom (with tub) and one bedroom with queen size bed on the courtyard side and en suite marble bathroom (with tub).

This first floor can benefit from an exclusive use (therefore guests could keep separate their living areas in case of need) as the second floor is independently accessible as well as fully equipped.
Furthermore, a lake-view Deluxe Suite can be created linking the two lake-view double bedrooms directly with the central living room.

On the second floor we find: the central living room with lake view, one bar/kitchenette with view on the courtyard, two bedrooms with king size bed (twin-convertible), with lake view and en suite marble bathroom (with tub) and one bedroom with king size bed (twin-convertible), with view on the courtyard and en suite marble bathroom with shower.
A further bedroom with French size bed, with view on the courtyard and en suite marble bathroom with shower, one laundry with washing machines and one kitchen complete this floor.

Villa Maria Taglioni boasts fabulous walks in the park from where you can reach the Lake Shore Village with its lovely square on the harbor, a seventeenth century church and the village garden with its nice pergola.

It is well connected with all transportation, you can move with your private car, rent a boat or take the comfortable water-taxis from the dock and reach the famous Villa d’Este, or all the several charming villages around the lake. You can also choose to call International Como Aeroclub (that is 3 miles away) and ask their seaplane taxi service to take you directly from the villas boat dock, either to a discovery tour of this thrilling alpine lake scenery, or to transfer with a 10 seats turbine Cessna Caravan seaplane from and to other destinations (Saint Moritz, Venice, Capri,etc.). Upon request and depending on availability it is possible the access to the eighteen holes Villa d’Este golf course in Montorfano.
